This post contains the Multimedia and Human Computer Interaction Final Project Proposal.
Idea:
For this project, Our group decided to make a biology game specifically on the topic of cancer
cells in the human body. In this game, the player controls the flow of red blood cells in a blood
vessel, but the main task of the player is to differentiate the red blood cells from the dangerous
cancer cells and eliminate them.
Background:
Our group decided to make a game about cancer cells because we feel that everyone should at
the very least know a simple but accurate explanation of cancer cells and their effects to the
human body.
Gameplay:
The player has the ability to differentiate cancer cells from red blood cells by their mutant rate
(temporarily, name will be changed in the future.), but they look exactly the same, If the mutant
rate is lower than 25, it is a cancer cell and must be destroyed immediately. If the cancer cell is
destroyed,The player will earn a point and earn some money which can be used in the store to
buy power-ups which will make the game easier. There will also be a HUD so the user can see
his score and the amount of money he has earned. (Gameplay might be slightly different in the
future. (New features, name changes, etc.) )
Roles:
Jason Christopher Chandra: Help add new features/gameplay mechanics,Designed the HUD
Coding support.
Naufal Muhammad Zavier: Designing and working on the gameplay mechanics of the game.
Brian Moses Weku: Head of Overall Design, Coding Suppor
